Audio Programmer
We are looking for a full time Audio Programmer to develop our Next-Gen audio engine and Toolchain. Responsibilities will include development and use of DSP and other effects to enhance 3d environmental audio. Integration of Audio API and Toolchain with Physics, Character and other systems.
Support of existing Audio engine across all current console and PC platforms.
We require that the applicant have strong knowledge of C/C++, data structures and performance. University-level degree in Computer Science.
Applicant should also have a basic understanding of audio production and demonstrate a keen interest in the area. The ability to research and implement new ideas and technology. Industry experience preferred, will consider graduates with exceptionally strong programming. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who want to push forwards the boundaries of real time in game audio.

Junior Physics and Toolchain Programmer
We are looking for a Junior Programmer to assist with development of our in house Physics API and Toolchain. Responsibilities will include development of Maya plugins and in house Editor tools plus suitable development of physics API under direction from Senior Physics Programmer. To be able to gain a full understanding of how the Physics API and Toolchain should be used and to assist game teams with correct usage of systems.
We require the applicant to have a strong knowledge of C/C++, data structures, performance and mathematics. University-level degree in Computer Science or Mathematics.

Render Programmer
We are currently seeking an experienced render programmer with knowledge of DirectX 9, Pixel Shaders, Vertex Shaders, ideally with XBox 360 and/or PS3 experience.
A strong grasp of hardware architecture and ways to improve rendering performance is desirable, as are good maths skills at least to A Level standard with good grades and relevant degree in computing, maths or physics.

We are looking for QA Testers to join our established test team in Slough, Berks.
The role will involve general testing of the games as well as specific localization testing in a specific language.
Applicants must be native speakers of their specified language as well as being fluent in English. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK – preferably already being based here. Must be willing to work unsociable hours and weekends. Rates of pay highly competitive. Experience preferred, but not required.

Technical/Mo-Cap Animators
Traveller’s Tales is currently looking for talented animators with a strong technical skill, and knowledge of Maya and Motion Builder. The job will involve working with motion capture for cinematic sequences in a high profile movie tie-in, as well as some hand animation.

We are looking for Tech artists to implement game play setup, using a combination of Maya and in house editors. On projects which will expand the LEGO gaming experience far beyond the Star Wars universe. Candidates should show a passion for games at all levels. Environment Artists
We are looking for artists to work on all next generation consoles, across a wide range of exciting high profile projects. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of advanced shaders, and a high level of creative and artist ability. Animators
We have a number of opportunities for Animators in our Cut-Scene department as well as on our In-Game Animation Team. We welcome applications from Animators outside of the games industry, and are also happy to view student showreels, and re-train those from different Animation disciplines.

Next Generation Console Programmers
We are looking for programmers for the next generation of consoles. Candidates must have experience with DX9 pixel shaders and a minimum of 3 years in the games industry, ideally having worked with the new consoles. Strong maths skills and a good grasp of the hardware are also an advantage.

Game-play Programmers
Traveller's Tales are currently seeking game play programmers. Experience with writing is a must. Experience with leading game play programming would also be an advantage. The candidate should also have an eye for detail as well as an understanding ot the nuances of what makes a game 'feel' good.
